That’s why we’re looking for someone who can help us bring this mindset to social media. Someone who understands nutrition, loves food culture and can turn smart ideas into content people actually want to watch, save and share.

About the role

We’re looking for a Nutritionist Social Media Specialist who is genuinely obsessed with food, ingredients, nutrition and healthy lifestyle.
This is a mix of nutrition expertise, content strategy, trend research, creative ideation and social storytelling.
You’ll turn nutrition science, food trends and everyday grocery choices into content people actually want to watch, save and share.
You’ll help Vilgain build a trusted, entertaining and modern voice across social media.

What will be your mission?

Create content ideas for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms.
Spot UK and global food trends before they peak.
Research viral food products, ingredients, diets, wellness claims and consumer behaviour.
Turn complex nutrition topics into simple, engaging and evidence-based content.
Create hooks, scripts, talking points and content angles for short-form videos.
Debunk nutrition myths in a relatable, non-judgemental way.
Support recipe development, ingredient education and product-related content.
Work closely with creators, editors, designers, marketing and product teams.
Review content to make sure it is nutritionally accurate and still platform-relevant.
Take part in shoots, taste tests, voiceovers or on-camera content when needed.

Who are we looking for?

You have education or strong background in Nutrition, Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or a related field — this is a must-have.
You genuinely love food, healthy lifestyle, ingredients and nutrition. We’re looking for a real foodie, not just a social media person.
You naturally follow food trends, check ingredients, notice new supermarket products and question viral wellness claims.
You understand TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and online food culture.
You can explain nutrition in a way that feels simple, human and fun — not clinical or boring.
You understand the UK food, retail and wellness landscape.
You’re comfortable creating content or appearing in social videos.
You can balance credibility with entertainment.

Nice to have

Copywriting or scriptwriting experience.
Understanding of creator economy and influencer marketing.
Knowledge of SEO, social analytics or audience engagement.
Experience with recipe development, food styling or culinary content.
Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
