Full job description

Synapri are currently working with a SaaS business servicing the property industry looking to hire a new Lead Backend Engineer on a full-time basis!

Reporting directly into the Engineering Manager our client is looking for someone to come in and lead a small team of 3 integration developers, take ownership of all integration work within the company as well as all customer and 3rd party integrations. This role will be a technically hands on position however you will have a (management/leadership) 70/30 (hands on) split supporting design, architectural decisions and collaborating with the Product Manager while also driving the team across delivery, implementing changes and managing code reviews!

Location: Hybrid, adhoc travel

Salary: up to £75,000 plus benefits

Skills required:

Experienced developer with a background in designing and building enterprise integration platforms
A strong background in Azure cloud-native architectures
Previous team leadership experience managing and mentoring engineers and technical initiatives
Strong experience with C# and .NET development
Experience designing APIs and integration architectures
Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven systems
Hands-on experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure SQL, and Storage Services
