Linguist / Translator / Researcher (Dutch)

The Opportunity

Working for one of the biggest global companies in the world, this is a brilliant 6-month temporary position for Dutch speaking professionals to work as one of their Machine Learning Assistants in their head offices in central London. Working as part of a wider team, the role itself will be undertaking tasks such as dialogue evaluation on speech, text, audio and video data.

The Role

Work with a range of data including text, speech, audio, image, and video
Deliver high-quality labelled data, using guidelines provided to meet KPIs
Analyse root causes, identify error patterns, and propose solutions to enhance the quality of labelling tasks and their outputs
Generate high-quality human insight data across a range of channels
Make sound judgments and logical decisions with ambiguous or incomplete information
Identify process and operational issues and suggest changes to unblock operations

The Person

Fluency in Dutch language (CEFR C1+)
Written and spoken knowledge of English (CEFR C1+)
Strong business writing skills with ability to create reports and proposals etc.
Advanced reading comprehension with ability to analyse complex business documents
Developed research, analytical thinking and structured problem-solving capabilities
A keen eye for detail and ability to pivot from one category of requirement to another

The Details

Location: Central London (zone 1)
Working: In offices, 5 days a week (no remote work due to sensitivity/confidentiality)
Contract: Temporary
Length of project: 6 months with potential to extend
Daily rate: £140 + holiday allowance (c. £160) – paid via PAYE (i.e. weekly payroll)

** Please also note this is a 5 day-a-week in office position, there is limited remote working due to sensitivity and confidentiality of the work **

Pay: £140.00-£160.00 per day
