Full job description

Job Description:

Manager Recruits, supervises and manages staff, allocate daily duties, provide training, and monitor performance to maintain high standards of customer service, productivity and food hygiene compliance.

Coordinate with butchers, counter staff and suppliers to ensure customers are informed about available products, seasonal items, promotions and special offers.

Manage stock levels by ordering, receiving and monitoring meat, poultry and other retail products, ensuring adequate supplies are maintained and stock rotation is carried out efficiently to minimise waste.

Handle customer enquiries, complaints and service issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction.

Authorise payments for goods received, negotiate with suppliers where appropriate, and determine retail pricing, promotional discounts and credit arrangements in line with business objectives.

Inspect the quality and freshness of meat and other products, ensuring compliance with food safety and quality standards, and maximise sales through effective merchandising, product displays and promotional activities.
