Full job description

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Revit Technician to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing detailed Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) models using Revit, supporting construction projects from concept through to completion. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a strong background in system design and CAD software to contribute to innovative infrastructure projects within a collaborative environment.

Duties

Develop and manage comprehensive MEP models using Revit, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate system designs seamlessly into overall building models.
Prepare detailed schematics, technical drawings, and construction documentation compliant with industry standards.
Utilise additional software such as AutoCAD, Grasshopper 3D, Rhinoceros 3D, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks to support multi-disciplinary design tasks.
Assist in system design development, including schematic creation and modification for various building services.
Review and coordinate models for clashes or conflicts, providing solutions to optimise constructability.
Maintain organised project files and documentation for ease of access and future reference.
Support junior team members through mentorship and knowledge sharing on Revit best practices.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

HNC, HND or degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related
discipline.
Minimum 4 years Revit MEP experience across multiple project types and RIBA stages.
Autodesk Certified Professional (Revit MEP) — mandatory.
Navisworks Manage proficient – independently runs and manages full project clash coordination.
ISO 19650 competent – can author a project TIDP, manage a CDE workflow and produce a BEP input
document.
Dynamo – basic scripting for repetitive tasks and data extraction.
Formal QA review of junior and intermediate technician output before coordinator sign-off.
LOD 300–400 modelling experience including prefabricated plant module delivery.

DESIRABLE

IFC 4 schema competence – data enrichment and model checking using Solibri.
Autodesk Revit API awareness or pyRevit scripting.
Experience with digital twin data requirements – FM-ready asset data population.
BIM 360 or ACC admin experience – workspace setup, permission management, workflow
configuration.
