About Us

S&C Bespoke is a specialist manufacturer of high-end bespoke furniture, producing luxury sofas, chairs, beds, headboards and upholstered furniture for interior designers, private clients and commercial projects throughout the UK. We pride ourselves on exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and delivering products of the highest quality.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join our growing workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional and modern upholstery techniques and be capable of producing high-quality furniture to exacting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Upholstering sofas, armchairs, dining chairs, beds and bespoke furniture
Working from technical drawings and specifications
Applying webbing, springs, foam, fillings and fabric coverings
Pattern matching where required
Cutting and fitting fabrics, leather and other upholstery materials
Ensuring all work meets company quality standards
Carrying out repairs and reupholstery projects when required
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
Working closely with the production team to meet deadlines

Requirements

Minimum 3 years' upholstery experience
Experience working with luxury or bespoke furniture preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Experience working with a wide range of fabrics and leathers
Good understanding of furniture construction
Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
