Event Manager & Event Staff Required – International Fundraising & Sporting Event

Hours: 8 - 11 hours split shifts from 7am - 11pm
Hourly rate + Increased travel for fuel & train tickets + Taxi allowance (PM staff)
We are looking for enthusiastic, confident, and professional Event Manager and Event Staff to support a large-scale international fundraising and sporting event taking place across Berkshire this September.
The event will welcome approximately 1,500 international participants across the weekend, with activities taking place at the event hotel and sporting venue. We are seeking reliable staff who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Event Locations
- De Vere Beaumont Estate
- Dorney Lake
Role Responsibilities
Friday 19th September – Event Hotel
- Meet & greet international participants arriving at the hotel
- Assist with guest check-in direction and way finding
- Marshal vehicles and direct coaches/cars
- Support evening welcome speeches and ushering
- Assist with catering flow and guest queries
Saturday 20th September – Sporting Event Day
- Welcome participants arriving at Dorney Lake
- Direct guests and assist participants to race locations
- Manage queues and information points
- Support catering and hospitality areas
- Assist with coach departures back to the hotel
- Evening medal ceremony ushering and stage coordination
