Position: Bar back

What will I be doing?

As a Barback at ...At Sloane, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar and providing exceptional service to our guests. You will work closely with our bartenders and other team members to maintain a clean and organised bar area, assist in the preparation of drinks, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Assist bartenders in the preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
Restock bar inventory, including liquor, mixers, garnishes, and ice.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards, including responsible alcohol service.
Greet and interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Assist in maintaining bar equipment and report any issues to the Bar Supervisor.
Collaborate with the bar team to deliver prompt and efficient service.
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.

What are we looking for?

Previous experience in a bar or restaurant environment is preferred.
Knowledge of drink recipes and bar procedures is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
communication and teamwork skills.
Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
Must be of legal drinking age.
Be flexible to work on late shift including weekends and bank holidays.
Part-time position with potential for full-time transition.
Involves heavy lifting and responsibilities for delivery handling and stock management.
