Cleopatra BeautyPro Academy is a professional beauty and aesthetics training academy based in Canary Wharf, London. We deliver high-quality regulated qualifications and CPD courses to learners who are looking to develop their skills, gain recognised qualifications, and progress within the beauty and aesthetics industry.
We are currently looking for experienced Beauty & Aesthetics Teachers / Assessors to support the delivery and assessment of our courses.
Important: Role Type
This is a demand-based teaching and assessing role.
This means work will be offered depending on:
- Course bookings
- Student numbers
- Scheduled training dates
- Academy requirements
The successful candidate will be contacted to teach and assess when students are booked onto relevant courses. This is not a fixed full-time role with set daily hours.
This role would suit a qualified teacher/assessor who is flexible and available to attend our training location in Canary Wharf, London when required.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for both teaching and assessing learners across beauty and aesthetics courses.
You will be expected to deliver theory and practical training, support learners with their workbooks and portfolios, and carry out assessments of both written and practical work.
As this is a teaching and assessing role, applicants must hold a recognised assessor qualification and be confident assessing learners against qualification requirements, assessment criteria, and practical competence standards.
Courses We Require Support With
We are looking for teachers/assessors to support delivery and assessment across our regulated ProQual qualifications and CPD beauty/aesthetics courses, including:
- ProQual Level 2 Award in Facial Skincare Treatments
- ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy Treatments
- ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Combined Beauty Therapy Services
- ProQual Level 3 Certificate in Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology
- ProQual Level 3 Award in Adult Basic Life Support, AED and Management of Anaphylaxis
- ProQual Level 3 Diploma in Pathway to Aesthetics
- ProQual Level 4 Award in Core Knowledge for Laser Safety
- ProQual Level 4 Certificate in Skin Treatment Using Laser, IPL and High Energy LED Devices
- ProQual Level 4 Certificate in Electrical Epilation
- ProQual Level 4 Diploma in Aesthetic Treatments and Skin Science
- ProQual Level 5 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice
- ProQual Level 6 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice
- ProQual Level 7 Diploma in Aesthetic Practice
- CPD beauty and aesthetics courses
Applicants must only teach and assess the courses where they hold the relevant certificates, occupational experience, and professional competence.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Deliver beauty and aesthetics training to learners in a professional and engaging manner
- Teach both theory and practical course content
- Assess learner workbooks, written assignments, portfolios, and supporting evidence
- Carry out practical assessments and observe learner competence
- Provide clear, constructive, and detailed feedback to learners
- Support learners with portfolio completion and evidence collection
- Maintain accurate assessment records and learner progress updates
- Ensure assessments are completed in line with course requirements and awarding body standards
- Follow internal quality assurance procedures
- Create a supportive, professional, and positive learning environment
- Communicate clearly with academy staff regarding learner progress, assessment outcomes, and any support needs
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Level 3 Assessor qualification, such as CAVA, A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, or equivalent
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training, or equivalent
- Relevant qualifications/certificates in the specific beauty and/or aesthetics subjects they will teach and assess
- Relevant occupational experience in the specific subject areas they will teach and assess
- Experience delivering regulated qualifications
- Experience delivering CPD beauty and/or aesthetics courses
- Experience assessing learner workbooks, portfolios, written assignments, practical assessments, and evidence
- Strong knowledge of assessment criteria, evidence requirements, and quality assurance standards
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- A professional, reliable, and learner-focused approach
- Availability to attend our training location in Canary Wharf, London when courses are scheduled
Desirable / Bonus
- IQA qualification or internal quality assurance experience
- Experience working with awarding body requirements
- Experience teaching mixed-level learners
- Experience supporting learners whose first language may not be English

Applicants must understand that this role is based on course demand, meaning teaching and assessing days will be arranged when students are enrolled onto relevant courses.
