About The Role
Joining Bauer Media Outdoor’s Compliance team, you'll support a broad range of compliance matters, from governance to sustainability. You'll oversee core operations, including third-party due diligence and our compliance LMS, while partnering with senior Local Compliance Officers across 9 Business Units to maintain strong controls and drive training. A champion for innovation, you will also help the team adopt AI responsibly to enhance efficiency, living BMG’s core values of trust, passion, excellence, and entrepreneurship. You'll support the day-to-day operation and continuous improvement of BMO’s compliance programme. You’ll coordinate across risk areas (including AI adoption, data privacy, and third-party due diligence), administer key compliance systems and learning platforms, and assist with monitoring, internal audits, and investigations to maintain a strong compliance environment.
What you'll be doing
Programme & Innovation Support: Help roll out compliance initiatives across key risk areas (e.g., data privacy, economic crime, ESG), support the Local Compliance Officer community, and champion responsible AI adoption within the team
Compliance Operations: Oversee core platforms, including the Compliance LMS and Third-Party Due Diligence process—and manage system updates, travel/gifts registers, and project documentation
Controls & Risk Management: Partner with Business Units to develop local processes, maintain the Compliance Risk Register, and ensure consistent control implementation
Monitoring & Remediation: Assist with internal investigations, audit preparations, and risk escalations in collaboration with Legal, Internal Audit, and operational teams
What you'll bring to the team
- Paralegal background (in-house/private practice) with a track record in compliance programme support and system administration
- Legal research skills in data privacy, ABC (anti-bribery & corruption), or competition law
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent)
- Admin experience with Compliance LMS, workflow tools, or contract lifecycle platforms.
- Familiarity with legal documentation
- Strong legal drafting and document review skills
