About the role
We are seeking an Senior Technician to join our Structural Engineering team in London. You will lead the production and coordination of high-quality structural drawings and BIM models, while supporting Revit standards and mentoring junior technicians.
Working closely with Engineers and Project Leaders, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial developments, mixed-use schemes and data centres, ensuring technical excellence and quality throughout project delivery.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the production of structural engineering drawings and BIM models using Revit and AutoCAD.

Support the continued development and implementation of Revit standards and protocols across UK projects.

Coordinate with architects, contractors and building services consultants to resolve design and documentation queries.

Review and check technical drawings and deliverables to ensure compliance with company drafting standards.

Delegate and coordinate work across technicians, junior technicians and trainees.

Support and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and training.

Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of drawing office standards and best practices.

Contribute to project planning, resource management and delivery programmes.

Maintain project drawing records and transmittals where required.

Support a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Act as a senior technical resource within the team and support Project Leaders as required. [
What We Are Looking For
-
HNC or HND qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.

Minimum 8 years' experience in structural drafting and documentation.

Minimum 3 years' experience using Revit, with strong BIM coordination skills.

Advanced proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Strong understanding of structural engineering drawings, detailing and construction documentation.

Experience coordinating information with architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.

Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior technicians.

Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
