Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional team member to join our team as a Presser. This role involves operating pressing equipment to ensure garments and textiles are finished to the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment, demonstrating excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Duties
- Operate pressing machines and related equipment to press garments, textiles, or fabrics according to specified standards.
- Ensure all items are pressed uniformly, with attention to detail regarding creases, folds, and finish quality.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pressing area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies, making adjustments as necessary.
- Assist with other garment finishing tasks as required by the production process.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling equipment and materials.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is desirable, demonstrating familiarity with high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Experience operating pressing or similar machinery is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring high-quality output.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude are required for maintaining excellent service standards.
