Full job description

We provide IT services to over 190 hotels across the UK and are always looking for good IT Engineers, ideally based from our Basingstoke office or London who can perform a mixture of on-site and remote IT.

What sets us apart from many of our competitors is we don’t just to IT support – we also do Wi-Fi, phone systems, CCTV, networking, in-room TV entertainment/casting solutions and lots more. We probably see more and do more in a week than other IT providers do in months.

We’re recruiting for a central-London Hotel IT Engineer.

Your duties would include:

Daily visits to our hotel clients within central London

Performing IT Support functions

Hands-on IT within the hotels for corporate functions or staff requirements, such as general IT Support, TV and IRE issues, Wi-Fi support, troubleshooting phone handsets issues

Collaborating with our other IT engineers as needed and required, depending on your skill set

Installing IT solutions within the hotels and working with third-arty vendors and other Hotality staff

Working from home when not at a hotel

The hours are 09:00-18:00 weekdays with an hour for lunch. You would also participate in a weekly shared on-call rota if there is something the overnight engineers are unable to fix.-

Experience of installing, configuring and troubleshooting Windows desktops and applications is essential, with hotel-specific IT systems being very advantageous. Knowledge of troubleshooting Windows, ESXi and HyperV servers, 3CX and networking would be useful.
