Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Marketing Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in social media management and public relations within a vibrant organisation. The successful candidate will assist in developing engaging content, managing online presence, and supporting our brand’s growth across various digital platforms. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about digital marketing, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to exciting campaigns.

Responsibilities

Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing content across multiple social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Monitor social media accounts for engagement, comments, and messages, ensuring timely responses to foster community interaction.
Support the development of social media campaigns aligned with organisational goals and branding strategies.
Help track and analyse social media performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and suggest improvements.
Contribute to public relations initiatives by drafting press releases, blog posts, and other promotional materials.
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm innovative ideas for content and outreach activities.
Stay updated on current trends in social media management and digital marketing to recommend new approaches.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a degree programme in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Demonstrable interest in social media management and digital marketing strategies.
Strong written communication skills with an eye for engaging content creation.
Familiarity with major social media platforms and tools for scheduling and analytics (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) is desirable.
Basic understanding of public relations principles and brand positioning.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently within deadlines.
Creative thinker with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills. This internship provides valuable hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of social media marketing while supporting professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Pay: £12,500.00-£15,000.00 per year
