Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time / Full-Time Bicycle Mechanic to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for bicycles and possess practical mechanical skills. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and assembling bicycles to ensure customer satisfaction and safety. Whether you're looking for flexible hours or a full-time position, this opportunity offers a dynamic environment where your technical expertise can thrive.

Responsibilities

Conduct repairs and maintenance on a variety of bicycles, including gear adjustments, brake tuning, and wheel truing
Assemble new bicycles from components, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
Diagnose mechanical issues accurately and efficiently
Use hand tools and power tools to perform repairs and maintenance tasks
Assist customers with technical advice and product recommendations
Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
Keep detailed records of repairs and services performed

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in bicycle repair or similar fields preferred
Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and tyre levers
Experience with power tools used in bicycle maintenance is advantageous
Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling bicycles or parts safely
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively
Flexibility to work part-time or full-time hours as required
