As part of our Workplace Wellbeing team, you will contribute to the delivery of UCL's Staff Mental Health and Wellbeing Action Plan, helping to shape a culture where wellbeing is valued, understood and embedded across our diverse university community.

About the role

We are seeking a creative Wellbeing subject matter expert to help drive awareness, engagement and participation in wellbeing initiatives across UCL.

This is an exciting opportunity for a wellbeing practitioner with strong communications expertise, to make a meaningful impact within one of the world's leading universities.

Reporting to the Wellbeing Manager and working closely with colleagues across Workplace Health, Human Resources and Communications, you will coordinate the planning and delivery of wellbeing campaigns, projects and engagement activities. You will develop compelling content across a range of digital channels, including websites, SharePoint, newsletters and MS Teams, ensuring staff can easily access high-quality wellbeing information and support.

You will build strong relationships with colleagues, networks and peer support groups across UCL, helping to embed wellbeing into everyday working life. You will also support the delivery of wellbeing training, briefings and awareness-raising activities, while using data and insight to evaluate impact and continuously improve engagement.

This role offers the opportunity to combine creativity, relationship-building and project coordination in a purpose-driven environment where your work will contribute directly to the wellbeing of our community.

Please note, this is a 12-month fixed term contract available on a hybrid basis with currently a minimum of 2-days onsite at our London Kings Cross office (subject to change).

About you

As a health and wellbeing professional, you will bring experience of delivering communications, engagement initiatives, and campaigns within a workplace wellbeing setting and ideally hold a degree or equivalent in health or wellbeing.

An excellent communicator, you will be able to translate complex or sensitive information into clear, engaging and accessible messages for a range of audiences. You will have experience creating and managing digital content across multiple platforms and channels, alongside strong editorial skills and attention to detail.

You will be confident building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders and collaborating across organisational boundaries to achieve shared goals. You will be organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities, using insight and evaluation to inform your approach and demonstrate impact.
