Eden Childcare Group is looking for a reliable, caring and enthusiastic Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly nursery team in Croydon.

If you have a genuine passion for working with children and want to gain a recognised Early Years qualification while earning, we'd love to hear from you. We are seeking a motivated Apprentice Practitioner to join our team. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their skills within a professional environment. The role involves supporting experienced practitioners while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the field.

Duties

Assist qualified practitioners with daily tasks.
Supporting children's learning and development through play and planned activities.
Helping to provide a safe, clean, happy and stimulating environment.
Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
Assisting with daily routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play.
Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies.
Completing your Early Years apprenticeship qualification with the support of our experienced team.
Observe and learn various techniques and procedures relevant to the practice.

Caring, patient and enthusiastic.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Passionate about giving children the best possible care.
Basic IT proficiency for record keeping and administrative tasks

Previous experience is advantageous but not essential
