Firm Background:

Join our newly established law firm, moving to a high street location within a walking distance of the Elizabeth line. The firm is led by an experienced Solicitor with a vision to grow and maintain a stellar reputation through an exceptional legal team. We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to support a senior solicitor in handling various personal injury cases, including road traffic accidents, Employers Liability (EL/PL) claims, and/or clinical negligence claims. Independent file handling is required under supervision of senior solicitor and you will also have a legal assistant assigned to assist with your work.

Minimum Requirements:

Strong background in personal injury or clinical negligence with at least 1 years full time experience or equivalent.
Experience using MOJ portals.
Ability to manage and prioritise a high caseload with a case management system.
Excellent prioritisation skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Effective argument construction for optimal client outcomes.
Team player with an interest in marketing and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage personal injury or clinical negligence litigation from inception to conclusion.
Conduct client interviews and gather relevant case information.
Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Organise and maintain case files and documents.
Perform legal research and analysis on pertinent laws and regulations.
Assist in trial preparation, including witness preparation and exhibit organisation.
Schedule appointments, depositions, and court appearances.
Support the principal solicitor and office manager as needed.

Caseload:

Handle a mixture of EL, PL, RTA and/or clinical negligence claims.
Focus on Fast Track and Multi Track matters

Additional Information:

Training contract and/or trainee solicitor positions available after successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
Hybrid working options may be available for suitable candidates.
