Our expertise covers new installations, modifications, and preparations for the decommissioning of nuclear sites.</p> <p> </p> <h2><span>As part of our continued growth, we are looking for our future:</span></h2> <h1><span>Nuclear Project Quality Manager (M/F)</span></h1> <p><span><strong>Based in</strong></span></p> <p><span><strong>London (UK) or Bristol (UK) or L</strong></span><span><strong>ille (France)</strong></span></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p><strong><span>Your challenge with us:</span></strong></p> <p> </p> <p>As part of the major UK nuclear projects <strong>Hinkley Point C (HPC)</strong> and <strong>Sizewell C (SZC)</strong>, <strong>Axima Nucléaire</strong> is involved in the design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of HVAC systems and Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG) systems integrated into our clients’ industrial facilities.</p> <p>Reporting to the <strong>Quality and Supplier Oversight Department</strong>, you will be assigned to a project as <strong>Project Quality Manager</strong> for one of our contracts.</p> <p>Your main responsibilities will include:</p> <ul> <li>Ensuring that contractual quality requirements are fully integrated into the project's Management System and effectively implemented by all personnel, subcontractors, and the wider supply chain;</li> <li>Establishing, maintaining, and managing the <strong>Contract Quality Assurance Plan (CQAP)</strong> through the implementation, maintenance, and continuous updating of the Project Quality Management System and all associated documentation (policies, procedures, guides, surveillance plans, registers, etc.);</li> <li>Obtaining and maintaining <strong>ISO certifications</strong> for the Bristol entity in alignment with the global management system;</li> <li>Coordinating the quality team for engineering and procurement activities, while providing oversight and project support for on-site installation activities;</li> <li>Implementing independent quality and nuclear safety oversight through site inspections, internal and external audits, and regular site visits;</li> <li>Managing subcontracted manufacturing inspection contracts in coordination with the Quality and Supplier Oversight Department;</li> <li>Managing non-conformities by overseeing the related processes and tools, monitoring customer claims, and ensuring their effective resolution and closure;</li> <li>Participating in selected supplier audits alongside Project Quality Engineers;</li> <li>Collaborating with the department to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.</li> </ul> <p>Travel within <strong>the United Kingdom and France</strong> will be required depending on the successful candidate’s location.</p> <p> </p> <h2><span>The ideal profile</span></h2> <p>You hold a <strong>Master’s degree (Bac +5 equivalent)</strong> in Engineering or a related field.</p> <p>Your expertise in <strong>Quality Assurance (QA)</strong> and <strong>Quality Control (QC)</strong>, together with your knowledge of standards and frameworks such as <strong>ISO 19443</strong> and <strong>IAEA GS-R-3</strong>, will be essential for success in this role.</p> <p>Knowledge of <strong>UK nuclear quality standards</strong>, regulations, and practices (<strong>Licence Condition 17 (LC17)</strong> and/or <strong>Construction Design and Management Regulations (CDM)</strong>) would be a significant advantage.</p> <p>You are recognized for your:</p> <ul> <li>Rigour and attention to detail;</li> <li>Ability to work autonomously;</li> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills;</li> <li>Cross-functional leadership and decision-making capabilities.</li> </ul> <p>You are comfortable communicating on a daily basis in <strong>English</strong>.</p> <p> </p> <h2><span>Why join Axima Nucléaire?</span></h2> <p>Joining our company means benefiting from the strength of a major international Group while working within close-knit, supportive, and passionate teams.
