We’re Hiring: Mobile Patrol Officer!

Location: London, SE1 5SY
Pay: £14.80 per hour
Hours: 42 hours per week: 4 on, 4 off working nights - 7pm - 7am

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will play a key role in protecting people, property and assets across a portfolio of client sites within your designated area. Working independently and as part of a wider team, you will carry out a range of mobile security duties including patrols, alarm responses, lock and unlock services, vacant property inspections and escort duties, ensuring a safe and secure environment at all times️

We are looking for a professional and reliable Mobile Patrol Officer with excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach to security. You'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of conduct, following operational procedures, and ensuring company vehicles and equipment are cared for correctly. Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escort services
Follow instructions from Team Leaders and collaborate effectively with team members
Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites
Follow proper escalation processes for incidents, break-ins, health and safety issues and road traffic accidents
Secure company assets, including PDA's and ensure dashcams are fully functional and used throughout the shift
Escalate incidents, risks, breakdowns and RTAs to the Team Leader, reporting RTAs in line with company policy
Maintain a professional, polite and helpful attitude towards clients, their staff and Securitas colleagues at all times

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

A valid SIA licence
Full UK manual driving licence
Flexibility to work nights and weekends
The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
Willing to work on own and has a keen eye for Security
Reliable and trustworthy
Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken
