Job Summary
Experienced Shuttering / Formwork Carpenter
ADT Construction Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Shuttering / Formwork Carpenter to join our growing team working on commercial and structural concrete projects across London and the South East.
The successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of traditional and proprietary formwork systems and be willing to assist with associated site activities including steel fixing, concrete placement, and general construction works as required.
Responsibilities
- Constructing, erecting and striking formwork systems
- Reading and working from construction drawings
- Setting out and maintaining dimensional accuracy
- Assisting with reinforcement installation and steel fixing works
- Supporting concrete placement and finishing operations
- General building and construction activities as required
- Maintaining a safe and organised working environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shuttering / Formwork Carpenter
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- CSCS Card (essential)
- SSSTS or SMSTS advantageous
- Experience with reinforcement fixing beneficial
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential
- Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently
