VISUAL MERCHANDISER
Full Time Reporting to: Store Manager / Deputy Store Manager
Role Purpose
To implement and maintain EDIKTED visual merchandising standards across the store, ensuring that the shop floor reflects the brand identity, commercial priorities and seasonal direction. The Visual Merchandiser is responsible for delivering strong presentation, supporting sales performance and creating an inspiring customer experience through visual execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Visual Merchandising & Presentation
- Implement VM guidelines and seasonal directives.
- Maintain mannequins, windows, tables and wall fixtures.
- Ensure styling reflects brand direction and current trends.
- Maintain strong visual standards throughout trading day.
2. Commercial & Product Placement
- Adapt layouts based on best sellers and trading performance.
- Support product launches and floor moves.
- Ensure key lines are presented in high-impact locations.
- Work with management to maximise commercial opportunities.
3. Shop Floor Standards
- Maintain clean, organised and visually appealing sections.
- Ensure size availability and tidy presentation.
- Support replenishment to protect visual standards.
4. Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Store Management and Supervisors.
- Communicate VM priorities to the team.
- Provide feedback on product performance and trends.
5. Stock & VM Equipment
- Organise VM props, fixtures and tools.
- Ensure mannequins and fixtures are well maintained.
- Report maintenance issues.
6. Customer Experience
- Ensure visual presentation supports easy navigation.
- Create attractive displays that inspire purchase.
- Support customer queries related to product and styling.
7. Compliance & Procedures
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Maintain Health & Safety standards.
- Use ladders, tools and equipment safely.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous fashion retail experience preferred.
- Experience in team supervision or leadership is desirable.
- Strong visual awareness and creative thinking.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
