Main duties and responsibilities

Perform duties of other House Porters in their absence as directed by Supervisor/Manager
Know the correct way to greet guests, always using the guest’s name, follow LQA/Forbes standards
When taking items to a guest’s room, know the correct procedure for entering a room.
Make sure all the maid services, waiter services and storage are well stocked and cleaned.
Keep all areas clean and clear of dirty linen, rubbish, and obstructions at all times.
Keep all fire exits clear of rubbish and obstructions at all times
Assist with stock take in linen room and stores.
