Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality hair services while ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our clients. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Duties

Provide a range of hair services including cutting, colouring, and styling to meet client needs.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitised.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences, offering professional advice on styles and treatments.
Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and increase salon revenue.
Assist with front desk duties including booking appointments, managing schedules, and handling customer inquiries.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and excellence.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Proficient in various hair techniques including cutting, colouring, barbering, and styling.
Experience in upselling products and services is advantageous.
Knowledge of front desk operations is desirable.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
