We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Estimator with a strong background in construction and preferably have experience in concrete flooring
As Sales Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate area measures and produce competitive quotations for structural decking and concrete flooring packages.
You will also play an active role in supporting the sales team, negotiating and securing projects, building strong relationships with contractors, clients and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing detailed cost estimates for structural metal decking, stud welding and in-situ concrete flooring works
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documents
- Conducting take-offs and calculating labour, plant and material costs
- Pricing concrete elements including reinforcement, finishing and power-floating
- Liaising directly with clients, suppliers and main contractors
- Proactively follow up on inquiries and quotations, converting quotations to order
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven estimating experience within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of concrete works (industrial floors, slabs, finishing, reinforcement, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in structural decking or concrete industry would be advantageous
