Waking Nights Support Worker

Salary: £25,174- £25,585 per annum, depending on qualifications

Hours: Full time (38 hours per week) 21.00pm – 08.00am

Location: Long Stratton, Norfolk

About the role:

As a children’s waking night support worker at Break, you’ll be hands on, working with the young people throughout the night helping them rest ready for the day ahead. The role includes a range of duties including preparing the home for the following day.

The first twelve months of your time at Break will see you build relationships with the young people we care for and support in our homes.

Every milestone in our disability services is celebrated and treasured. We can’t promise every day will be easy, but we can promise the sense of pride you’ll feel for the young people you support and care for.

You’ll need to be an excellent team player who is warm, caring, calm and resilient enough to cope with the complex emotional and behavioural needs of the young people we support.

You will need to successfully complete a Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare before you complete 24 months of Support Work. This will be fully funded by Break and you will be supported by our training team.

Please note that you must have a full, valid driving licence.
