Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and reliable PCV Driver/Transport Office Worker to join our dynamic team. This role combines the responsibilities of operating passenger vehicles safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service, with supporting administrative tasks within the transport office. Duties
- Safely operate passenger carrying vehicles (PCVs), including buses or vans, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and securing of transport equipment and supplies when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules
- Communicate effectively with passengers, colleagues, and management to coordinate schedules and address any issues promptly
- Support the transport office by handling administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and record keeping
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues early and report maintenance needs promptly
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized transport yard and office environment
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid <PERSON> driver’s license or equivalent certification
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear interactions with passengers and team members
- Demonstrated ability to operate vehicles safely under various conditions with a focus on passenger safety
- Good organizational skills for managing schedules, records, and administrative tasks efficiently
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail
