Job Summary:
The Warehouse Technician is responsible for preparing, maintaining and managing technical equipment for live events, ensuring every project leaves the warehouse accurately prepared, tested and presented to the highest standard. The role plays a key part in stock control, equipment maintenance, warehouse organisation and continuous improvement of operational processes
The successful candidate will have a technical mindset, enjoy working with professional event equipment and be keen to develop their knowledge across audio, video, lighting, power and rigging systems.
A full UK driving licence is essential as the role will also support equipment deliveries and collections when operationally required. Driving forms part of the role but is not the primary day-to-day responsibility.

Main Duties:
- Select and prepare the correct equipment for each technical kit list
- Ensure equipment is clean, labelled and in full working order before dispatch.
- Use warehouse software to scan equipment in and out, maintaining accurate stock control.
- Pack flight cases carefully to protect equipment during transport.
- Support scenic and production teams with preparation and loading activities.
- Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Return equipment to the correct storage locations following de-prep.
- Identify, isolate and label faulty equipment requiring repair.
- Assist with stock checks and inventory accuracy.
- Maintain warehouse housekeeping and health & safety standards.
- Support sub-hire processes and associated administration.
- Respond efficiently to operational changes and last-minute equipment requests.
- Carry out basic maintenance of lighting, audio, video, power, rigging and cabling equipment.
Delivery & Site Support
- Support the delivery and collection of equipment to and from event venues when required.
- Safely load, transport and unload equipment, ensuring it arrives in excellent condition.
- Carry out vehicle safety checks and report any defects or damage.
- Work alongside the logistics team to ensure efficient transport planning.
- Assist with onsite loading, unloading and basic technical support where required.
Experience
- Experience working within a warehouse, ideally in the live events, AV or entertainment industry.
- Experience handling professional technical equipment.
- Good understanding of one or more technical disciplines including audio, lighting, video, power or rigging.
- Experience driving vans up to 3.5 tonnes is desirable.
- Experience loading and securing valuable technical equipment for transport.
