English Teacher for Foreign Workers (On-site Corporate Training)

We are currently looking for a dedicated and engaging English teacher to deliver on-site English training for foreign workers in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
About the Course
- Type of Classes: 3 small groups of approximately 4 students each
- Total Hours: 6 hours per week
- Schedule: 2 hours per week per group
- Location: On-site at the client’s workplace
- Start Date: June 2026
- Initial Stage: Teacher availability required next week for a free on-site visit and assessment meeting
- Student Profile:
- Adult foreign workers
- Beginner to elementary English levels
- Some learners may have limited literacy skills
- Strong focus on speaking confidence and workplace communication
Course Objectives
The training is designed to help employees improve communication in the workplace, particularly regarding:
- Health and safety procedures
- Production-line communication
- Team interaction
- Understanding workplace instructions
- Building confidence speaking English during daily tasks
The course will focus primarily on oral communication, pronunciation, listening comprehension, and practical workplace vocabulary rather than academic English.
Lessons will be adapted using real company materials and production-related vocabulary.
Most of the students are native Punjabi speakers and currently rely heavily on Punjabi for communication during daily operations. One of the key objectives of the training is to help employees gradually build confidence using English more consistently in the workplace, particularly in situations involving teamwork, production processes, and health and safety communication. Teachers should therefore be comfortable working with multilingual groups and learners who may translate mentally from their native language while developing practical spoken English skills.
Important Information
- Classes will take place during working hours
- Small-group teaching approach required
- Teacher must be comfortable adapting lessons to mixed abilities and adult learners
- Initial assessments will be conducted before groups are finalized
- The company environment is industrial/manufacturing-based
Ideal Teacher ProfileQualifications
- Native-level English speaker or equivalent fluency
- Experience teaching adults and/or workplace English
- Experience with beginner learners and multilingual groups
- ESL/EFL qualification preferred
Requirements
- Freelance / self-employed / independent teacher
- Comfortable teaching on-site
- Patient, practical, and encouraging teaching style
- Ability to create engaging communicative lessons
- Reliable and professional
Experience in any of the following is a plus:
- Corporate training
- Manufacturing or industrial English
