Full job description

We are a unique early childhood education and care setting in Snodland, Kent.

Seeking one Early Years Educator (L3+ qualified) or Early Years Practitioner (unqualified but experienced as a parent, for example, or up to L2 qualified), to grow our team.

We require a very special person to work with children ranging from 0 to 5 years during term-time and in school holidays.

This role is for an 'experienced' person as follows:

1) Experience of working in an early education and care setting e.g. nursery, childminder, pre-school ideally with a relevant Level 2 qualification or above, though not essential.

and/or:

2) Experience parents caring/cared for, and that are developing/have developed their own children.

Additionally, if you:

are truly passionate about children and care deeply about their learning, development and welfare;
are enthusiastic;
are a patient person;
have a good sense of humour;
have the ability to inspire both children and staff;
are a great communicator;
are reliable and organised;
can independently manage your own workload (including children and paperwork) but work equally well as part of a supportive, encouraging team;
have strong resilience;
like to be challenged and embrace change;
enjoy the outdoors and don't mind getting your hands dirty...

If you are looking for an easy job and anything will do, please do NOT apply. Working with children is not an easy task and this role specifically, requires 'all of you' when present. However, it is greatly rewarding and in our opinion, the best and more important job in the world!

Part/full-time positions available Monday to Friday, working two, three, four or five days per week. Hours of work are set at 08:00 to 17:30 with 30 minute lunch break, there is no flexibility with these.

Starting salary ranges from £10.90 to £13.05 (or more) per hour, subject to age, experience and qualifications.
