Overview
We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality welding operations, primarily using MIG welding techniques, to fabricate and assemble metal components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in sheet metal fabrication. Responsibilities
- Execute MIG welding on various metal components with material thickness ranging from 3mm to 20mm, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair parts using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Work with sheet metal and other materials to produce high-quality welded products.
- Operate fabrication machinery and assist in the assembly of metal structures or components.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety protocols.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, consistency, and compliance with technical standards.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
Skills
- Proficiency in MIG welding, with demonstrated experience in welding techniques.
- Strong knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication processes.
- Experience working with sheet metal and performing basic assembly tasks.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication work.
- Familiarity with safety procedures in an industrial setting.
