Catering Assistant – Netherton (Peterhead)

Compass Group UK & Ireland – Onshore Sector
Location: Netherton, Peterhead
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Start Date: Site mobilisation planned for early September

Join Compass Group at an Exciting New Site Mobilisation

Compass Group UK & Ireland is looking for enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistants to join our team at a new onshore energy sector site in Netherton, Peterhead. With the site expected to mobilise from the beginning of September, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new operation from day one.

As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering a high-quality food service, ensuring customers receive a welcoming, efficient, and professional experience every day.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and service of food and beverages.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
Support the kitchen team with food preparation and stock replenishment.
Operate tills and handle customer transactions where required.
Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures are followed.
Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude.
Support colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

About You

Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced catering environment.
Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Flexible and willing to support different areas of the operation when required.

Previous experience in catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
