About the Role

HS Soccer Camps Ltd operates within the sports coaching, youth development, training programmes, and event coordination sector, helping participants access organised, professional, and engaging sports camp experiences. We are seeking a Director of Sports Operations to lead programme delivery, oversee operational planning, and support continued growth across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead sports camp operations, programme delivery, and service planning
Oversee coaches, support staff, schedules, venues, and operational workflows
Develop strategies to improve participant experience, programme quality, and business performance
Coordinate with venues, schools, partners, suppliers, families, and internal teams
Monitor budgets, attendance, safety procedures, staff performance, and service standards
Support coach development, staff training, and leadership planning
Prepare senior-level reports, operational updates, and improvement recommendations

What We Are Looking For

Experience

Strong experience in sports operations, coaching programmes, youth sports, event management, education services, or recreational programme leadership
Previous senior management or department-level leadership experience is preferred
Experience working with sports camps, schools, coaching teams, or youth development programmes is an advantage

Skills

Sports operations leadership
Programme planning and delivery
Team management and coach development
Venue, partner, and stakeholder coordination
Budget monitoring and performance reporting
Strong communication, organisation, and decision-making skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, Coaching, Education, Event Management, or a related field is preferred
Professional certifications in sports coaching, safeguarding, first aid, programme management, or leadership are an advantage

Pay: £62,000.00-£115,000.00 per year
