We specialise in one-to-one walks and home visits, supporting dogs who may be nervous, reactive, or simply not suited to group walks. Our clients value calm handling, consistency and trust — and we pride ourselves on providing exactly that.
The role
We are looking for a dedicated, self-employed dog walker to join our growing team.
Access to a car suitable for transporting dogs is essential for this role.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role for someone who genuinely enjoys working with dogs as individuals — not just walking them, but understanding them.
You’ll be trusted with dogs of all sizes and personalities, including those who need a confident, calm and experienced handler. No two days are the same, and the work is both physically active and mentally engaging.

- Has hands-on experience owning dogs (essential)
- Is confident handling large breeds and strong dogs
- Is calm, patient and capable around nervous or reactive dogs
- Enjoys working independently and managing their own time
- Is reliable, professional and committed to high standards of animal welfare
- Is looking for meaningful, flexible work rather than a standard 9–5
This is not a casual or “easy” job — but it is hugely rewarding for the right person.
Hours, income & flexibility
- Typical hours: 10:00am – 2:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Some flexibility can be offered where needed
- Workload will build gradually as your client base grows
As this is a self-employed position, hours and income can vary week to week. This role is best suited to someone who has the flexibility to manage income variation.
Optional additional opportunity: Pet Sitting
For candidates who wish to increase their income, there is also the opportunity to take on pet sitting bookings.
This would involve caring for pets overnight in the client’s own home while owners are away, providing continuity of care and peace of mind. Pet sitting is entirely optional and can be accepted around your availability.
