Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Site AC Supervisor to join our team and take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision and delivery of air conditioning and HVAC works on site.
The successful candidate will have strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems, excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead engineers and subcontractors effectively while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate AC/HVAC engineers and subcontractors on site.
- Oversee installation, servicing and commissioning of air conditioning systems.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
- Carry out regular quality checks and ensure a high standard of workmanship.
- Liaise with the Site Manager, Project Manager, clients and other trades.
- Monitor progress and report any issues, delays or additional requirements.
- Ensure all site works comply with current health & safety requirements.
- Complete and maintain site paperwork, reports and relevant documentation.
- Assist with resolving technical issues and provide guidance to engineers where required.
- Coordinate materials, equipment and deliveries to ensure works remain on programme.
- Ensure engineers and subcontractors follow company procedures and site rules.
- Support the successful completion and handover of projects.
Requirements
- Experienced in supervising AC/HVAC installation or projects.
- Technically knowledgeable and confident working with air conditioning systems.
- Able to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
- A strong communicator who can work effectively with clients, engineers and other contractors.
- Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Proactive, with a good eye for quality and attention to detail.
- Comfortable taking responsibility for site-based activities and leading a team.
- Essential:
- Proven experience within the air conditioning/HVAC industry.
- Previous supervisory or senior engineering experience.
- Relevant AC/HVAC qualifications.
- F-Gas certification.
- Good understanding of health & safety requirements on construction/commercial sites
- CSCS card

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
