Warehouse Stock & Logistics Manager
Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire
Job Type: Full-time
Industry: Agricultural Hardware, Automotive Parts & Industrial Power Solutions (National Distribution - UK & ROI)
About Us
With over 30 years of industry expertise, Equip Global Supplies Ltd is a rapidly expanding force based in Market Rasen, operating as a key national distributor supplying goods all over the UK and ROI. Alongside our well-established agricultural hardware and automotive parts store, we have positioned ourselves as a leading name in industrial and commercial battery solutions. We also house a fully equipped fabrication shop and provide rapid hydraulic pipe repair and replacement services, combining decades of technical know-how to provide exceptional service.
The Role
We are seeking a hands-on Warehouse Stock & Logistics Manager to take ownership of our warehouse operations and stock control. Ideal candidates will have previous experience within warehousing, automotive parts, industrial supplies, battery distribution or similar trade environments.
This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent organisation, attention to detail and the ability to lead by example. A large part of the role involves handling lead-acid batteries, ensuring they are correctly stored, refresh charged, labelled and prepared for dispatch whilst maintaining strict stock accuracy and warehouse organisation.
Alongside overseeing the day-to-day operation of the warehouses, you will coordinate incoming deliveries, customer collections and outbound shipments using our third-party courier platform. You will also be responsible for organising stock replenishment into our retail store, ensuring products are always available for our trade counter team and customers.
An important part of the role is coordinating and managing waste battery collections for our national customer base. Whilst many collections will be arranged through our transport network, there will also be occasions where you will travel throughout the UK in a company vehicle to collect waste batteries directly from customers or provide additional logistical support when required. We pride ourselves on going the extra mile for our customers, so flexibility and a willingness to step in where needed are essential. Whether it's an urgent delivery, customer collection or supporting a key account at short notice, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the exceptional service that Equip Global Supplies is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Warehouse Management: Lead the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring a safe, organised and efficient working environment.
- Stock & Inventory Control: Maintain accurate stock levels through regular cycle counts, stock audits and inventory management using our industry-leading stock control system.

- Waste Battery Collections & Customer Support: Coordinate waste battery collections for our national customer base, arranging transport through approved logistics partners whilst also undertaking occasional UK-wide collections in a company vehicle. Go above and beyond to support customers with urgent deliveries, collections and specialist logistical requirements whenever needed.
- Warehouse Equipment: Safely operate warehouse equipment including counterbalance and reach truck forklifts to load, unload and move stock efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- General Warehouse Operations: Assist with loading and unloading vehicles, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and supporting all areas of warehouse operations as required.
- Health & Safety: Ensure all warehouse activities are carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures and health & safety legislation.
