Full job description

Overview

We are looking for an Accounts and Payroll Assistant, where you'll play a vital role in managing financial transactions, payroll processing, and human resources support. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization’s efficiency by ensuring accurate accounting and timely payroll administration. You will work closely with various departments to streamline processes, maintain precise records, and support our commitment to operational excellence. This roll is between 2-4 days a week.

Responsibilities

Assist in processing payroll.
Manage accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry, verification, and reconciliation within accounting software.
Perform data entry for financial transactions, employee records, and payroll information with high attention to detail.
Support the accounts receivable process by tracking payments and following up on outstanding balances.
Collaborate with the human resources team to update employee information and maintain compliance with payroll regulations.
Maintain organized records of all financial transactions, payroll documentation, and HR-related data for audit readiness.

Experience

Experience working with accounting software.
Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.
Previous experience supporting accounts payable functions and payroll processing is preferred, but not essential.
Demonstrated analysis skills to review financial data and identify issues proactively.
Knowledge of human resources processes related to payroll administration is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
