Security Officer (Front of House)

Location: Aldershot, GU11
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off / Flexible
Hours: Various shifts covering 5:00pm – 9:00am Monday to Friday, plus weekend days and nights

Are you a professional Security Officer with excellent customer service skills? We're looking for reliable and confident individuals to join our team at a busy student accommodation site in Aldershot.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a customer-facing environment while maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for residents, visitors, and staff.

The Role

As a Front of House Security Officer, you'll be the first point of contact for residents and visitors while ensuring the site remains safe, secure, and welcoming. You'll carry out a variety of security and reception duties, responding professionally to incidents and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the reception and front-of-house area.
Welcoming and assisting residents, visitors and contractors.
Conducting regular internal and external security patrols.
Responding to fire alarms and intruder alarm activations.
Reporting maintenance issues promptly.
Completing incident reports and daily documentation.
Responding to security incidents and call-outs.
Carrying out cleaning duties within communal areas when required.
Assisting with waste management as required.
Delivering excellent customer service at all times.

What We're Looking For

A valid SIA Security Guarding (SG) or Door Supervisor (DS) Licence.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong spoken and written English.
Good IT skills.
Professional and reliable approach to work.
Ability to work independently, including lone working.
A full 5-year checkable employment history.
Previous corporate or residential security experience is desirable.
