We are seeking a dedicated School Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and organisation of our premises. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for staff and visitors alike. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, contributing to the overall presentation and safety of our facilities.

Duties

Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of designated areas
Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to high standards
Dispose of waste materials appropriately and ensure recycling procedures are followed
Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any issues or shortages promptly
Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Assist with specialised cleaning tasks as required, such as window washing or deep cleans during scheduled periods

Skills

Good communication skills in English to understand instructions and interact professionally with colleagues and visitors
Customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanour
Organisational skills to prioritise tasks effectively within scheduled timeframes
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining attention to detail
Physical stamina and mobility to perform cleaning duties efficiently throughout the shift
