We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Window Surveyor to join our construction and renovation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing window installations, ensuring compliance with specifications, and providing accurate measurements for upcoming projects. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive surveys of existing window installations on-site, recording precise measurements and conditions.
- Analyse architectural drawings, schematics, and construction plans to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure survey accuracy and project specifications are met.
- Identify potential issues related to roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, or masonry that may impact window installation or renovation.
- Prepare detailed reports outlining survey findings, including sketches and technical notes as necessary.
- Assist in planning the installation process by providing accurate data for fabrication and carpentry teams.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations, including the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and scaffolding when required.
- Maintain organised records of surveys and communicate findings effectively to relevant stakeholders.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction surveying or a related trade such as roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or carpentry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans is essential.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, plastering, masonry, and construction painting will be advantageous.
- Knowledge of various trades including roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, masonry, and fabrication enhances survey accuracy.
- Previous exposure to working on-site within construction environments is preferred.

Pay: £26,387.44-£62,880.68 per year
