Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join the team at a private clinic in Lurgan. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment for patients and staff alike. Will be to start 1.5 hrs / weekend with room for further expansion and cover for holidays. Flexible times. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial services, or hospital environments to contribute to a professional healthcare setting. The position is paid and requires attention to detail, reliability, and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.Also require cleaning of towels... Was paying £6/load.

Responsibilities

Perform daily cleaning duties within the clinic, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
Ensure all patient areas, treatment rooms, waiting areas, and staff facilities are kept hygienic and presentable
Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in good working order
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent contamination and ensure a safe environment for everyone
Dispose of waste appropriately and maintain cleanliness of waste disposal areas
Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
Adhere to infection control procedures specific to healthcare environments

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable
Previous experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is advantageous
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards work responsibilities
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning in healthcare environments is preferred
