Duties & Role Description

The AP/AR Clerk is a 4- 6 month contract, on-site role based in South Ruislip, London, responsible for day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.

This role includes processing supplier invoices, matching purchase orders, coding expenses, reconciling supplier statements.

The AP/AR Clerk will issue customer invoices, record receipts, perform bank reconciliations in a professional manner.

Responsibilities also include monitoring and maintaining the accounts mailbox, maintaining accurate ledgers, assisting with month-end closing tasks. The role involves regular coordination with internal teams and suppliers to resolve queries and ensure timely, accurate financial transactions.

Qualifications

Strong numeracy and literacy skills and attention to detail, with the ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
Proficiency on Microsoft Excel
Experience with accounting or ERP software is advantageous.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
Well-organized, able to manage multiple deadlines, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Relevant accounting or finance certification or coursework is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.

Pay: £26,325.00 per year
