Responsibilities
- Operate and utilise hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently
- Carry out carpentry and other construction-related duties as required
- Conduct heavy lifting to move materials or equipment safely around the worksite
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair machinery or structural components
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of various structures or systems
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to maintain a safe working environment
- Support commercial driving activities when necessary, including transporting materials or equipment between sites
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry and related trades
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems
- Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction and maintenance environments
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
- CSCS card is essential for this position
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are advantageous
