Job Summary

Join our dynamic culinary team nominated as the finest international cuisine in the UK as a line chef, where your passion for African food and spices and dedication to quality will shine! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes with precision and flair, fulfilling Uber Eats orders and eat-in orders. Your enthusiasm for culinary arts will contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment, working alongside talented chefs committed to excellence and revolutionising the African fine dining industry.

Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Ensure all food is prepared efficiently, maintaining high quality and presentation
Follow food safety guidelines and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area
Assist in meal assembly, plating, and portion control to ensure consistency
Support the team during busy service hours by managing multiple stations effectively
Maintain inventory levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or issues
Adhere to all health regulations and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles preferred but not required
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests
Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly desirable
Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior kitchen staff
