Avantor is looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to help with our Export Operations to transport and deliver chemical goods by air, road & sea freight to our customers worldwide.
This role will be a full-time position based out of our Lutterworth site. You will have the opportunity to be part of the small export operations warehouse team. If you are a flexible team player, have previous experience in duties relating to picking, packing, shipment management and stock control– let’s talk!
The team
Avantor’s Warehouse Operative is part of a busy team of 4.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in picking & packing, goods out, dispatch
- Stock control
- Good organisational skills
- Reliability and dependability
- Good literacy & numeracy skills
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
- Self-motivated
- Upbeat and energised
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of tasks
- Team player
- FLT Counter Balance license highly desirable but not essential
How you will thrive and create an impact
Performs basic warehouse duties; such as material movement, equipment operation, keep associated record logs. Assists with inbound and outbound shipments.
Performs other duties as assigned.
