Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing stock, handling materials, and maintaining a safe working environment. This position requires a strong work ethic, basic IT skills, aptitude for machinery and the ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily duties.

Duties

Stock and build inventory in accordance with company standards.
Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling and storage.
Perform picking and packing tasks accurately to fulfil orders.
Maintain an organised warehouse environment by following the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and enhance productivity.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
Basic IT skills
Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment maintenance.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the shift.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
