Job Opportunity: Experienced Welder/Fabricator

About Us: Join our dynamic team at Hatch, a thriving, family-run company with over 35

years of experience in the industry. Based in Charing, we have a close-knit team of 20

dedicated professionals. We are proud of our UKCA accreditation, maintained for the past

decade, reflecting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Diverse Projects: Work on a variety of tasks, from production-line fabrication like

railings and skids to larger structural steelwork & architectural works such as

staircases, agricultural buildings, and custom commissions.

Ideal Candidate:

Experience:

o Reading complex engineering drawings for structural steelwork.

o Installing steelwork on site.

o MIG and MAA welding.

o Working to exceptionally high standards.

o Problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

o City & Guilds diploma in Engineering Welding and Fabrication or equivalent.

Attributes:

o Flexible to work independently or as part of a team.

o A positive, ‘can do’ attitude.

Additional Skills (Preferred but not essential):

Familiarity with UKCA procedures.
CSCS Card.
Forklift Truck Certificate.
IPAF Card.

Job Details:

Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Competitive

o Monday to Friday, 08:00 am – 4:30 pm

o Overtime available but not guaranteed

o Fabrication: 3 years
