Chef de Partie

Location: Lyme Regis Salary: £14 per hour + Tips (circa £3/4 per hour) Hours: Full Time | Guaranteed 35-hour minimum during winter Venue: Award-Winning Independent AA Rosette Restaurant

The Opportunity

An award-winning independent seaside restaurant in Lyme Regis is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join its established kitchen team. Holding an AA Rosette for culinary excellence, the restaurant has built an excellent reputation for producing high-quality dishes using outstanding seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef looking to develop within a professional fresh-food kitchen while working alongside an experienced and supportive brigade. The role offers genuine progression opportunities for someone ambitious and committed to developing their culinary career.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will:

Run your section confidently and independently while maintaining consistency and high standards
Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef on seasonal menu development
Support and help develop junior chefs within the brigade
Maintain excellent food hygiene and HACCP standards
Assist with stock management, sustainability and minimising food waste
Deliver dishes to AA Rosette standards using fresh, local produce

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

A genuine passion for cooking and fresh food
Experience within a quality fresh-food kitchen
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Creativity, enthusiasm and a positive attitude
Ambition to progress into a Sous Chef role in the future
A desire to continually learn and develop professionally
