Rose Engineering is a Multi-Award Winning, long standing family run business of over 38 years, specialising in the design, fabrication and completion of Agricultural and Industrial Steel Framed Buildings, based in Sturminster Newton but operating throughout the Southwest.
About You:
- Hold a valid CSCS Card
- Experience in concrete pouring and finishing (Essential)
- Experience in kerb laying (Essential)
- Experience in drainage (Essential)
- Experience in setting out, reading drawings, laser levels (Desirable)
- Relevant training for Telehandler, Excavator, Roller etc. an advantage
- Full driving licence and able to travel to sites due to remote locations
- Possess a positive attitude towards Health & Safety and comfortable using a H&S management app
- Good communication skills with a professional and friendly approach to both fellow employees and clients
- Be physically fit to carryout manual tasks
- Be able to accurately follow instructions given
- A team player willing to help out with other tasks as required
Plant ticket desirable:
- 360 Above and Below 10T
- Dumper
- Roller
About The Role:
- Accurately carry out all aspects of Groundworks involved in our construction projects, including;
- Laying Stone
- Concreting, including Powerfloat floors
- Drainage works
- Excavating foundations
- Operating plant and machinery as well undertaking manual groundworks, so some heavy lifting will be necessary
- Working as part of a team to prepare sites ready for construction works to take place
- Sites are varied from agricultural groundworks to concreting roadways for industrial developments
- Assist other site teams where required
