GK Signs creates signage for a range of diverse UK businesses, providing a national reach with a local feel.
We are a market leader in providing high quality vehicle livery and construction signage to organisations such as Royal Mail, Crystal Care, Evri, Churchill Retirement Living, Amazon EU, Parcelforce, Aldi, Viridor and many more. We offer the same bespoke service to smaller companies in a variety of sectors, helping to take their business to the next level.
We are looking for an experienced artworker/designer capable of producing proofs to a consistently high standard, with exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow briefs from Design Head and Customer Coordinators ensuring attention to detail
- Create high quality artwork proofs in a timely manner
- Amend designs after feedback
- Supply artwork to pre-press team with attention to detail of exact to scale sizing, colours, bleed if required and correct format.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are on-brand
- Assist with other office duties
Qualifications & Experience
- Must have working knowledge of design applications including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Proven graphic design and art working experience
- A strong portfolio of illustrations, art working or other graphics
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
- Previous knowledge of signage art working and sign making desired.
- Use of AI proficiencies for improving workflow in creating artwork
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Website design experience including customer portals desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus
